I can remember a key moment in the buildup of that squad…

When the squad became a team

I remember when Chelsea was losing games because of the mistakes they were making.

I remember Cole Palmer not scoring goals and going through a rough phase.
I remember the resistance from Mariska to give the captain’s armband to Moi, then switching it to Enzo.
I remember the messages during celebrations: “I’m here,” and “Relax, I’m here.”

Until one day, in one match, something happened…
Moi even sacrificed his foot just to create a penalty so Palmer could take the shot.

And yes, he kicked it, and yes, he scored it.

And then it came:
Love entered the team.
Everybody hugging each other, everybody friends, everybody saying: “This is the best.”
