It is September 19. Martinelli was just sold to the Arab league where he scored a hat trick in his first match in the other side Arsenal faces Brighton.
it was one nail at the first half when Arsenal blocks on attack and prepares for the counter attack.. the ball goes as fast as the Premier league, Tsolis take the ball before the middle of the pitch and then he almost loses it, between a fast pass and a foul (that everybody saw it coming..) the whole team loses the pace of the counter attack having at the end four mans in the area when, with Martinelli, it would have been needed just him.. as the counter attack. It is not finished effectively. Brighton takes the ball and makes a counter attack to their counter attack, scored their second goal, and finishes what it will be at the end a three nail for Brighton.
If Martinelli would have been in the pitch, that play would very probably would have ended in a draw for Arsenal before halftime , the mood of the team would have risen and the whole destiny of the match will have been different.
It’s funny how football (or the lack of players that truly knows the system and the crucial times of a team)speaks for itself, probes points and sometimes, shut some mouths. (Sorry).
All the support to Gabriel Martinelli, the new beginning, and hoping he comes back someday to the team where he belongs.
